Description
Science and technology often surround the modern health practitioner. Moreover, major advances in medicine, nursing and human functioning have come about from a greater understanding of science. Introductory Bioscience is designed to provide students in applied health with the scientific principles that form the basis of human functioning. Students are introduced to basic principles in biology, chemistry and physics that are relevant to health-care practice.
