Description
This course further develops students understanding of theoretical and practical issues associated with Internet commerce. The focus is on how the Internet can be used to improve the way a business deals with its stakeholders (customers, suppliers, owners, employees, etc.) and how it can be used to develop and market new products and services. Several problems surrounding electronic commerce such as security, authentication, privacy, encryption, safeguarding intellectual property rights, acceptable use policies, and legal liabilities are explored.
