Description
This course focuses on the degradation processes affecting the quality of landscapes and waterways. It is a knowledge based course that introduces students to the abiotic and biotic processes in land and water environments. The conceptual bases of the degradation process are supported by a range of laboratory skills which allow students to examine and analyse soil/sediment and water samples for key physical, chemical amd biological parameters and evaluate results in a scientific manner.
