Writing for the Web

Description
This course is practical with an emphasis on learning to write in journalistic styles. By writing for the international Web magazine UniPlanet, students will work in conjunction with students from the State University of New York and universities in Romania, Slovakia, Peru and Venezuala. One hour weekly lectures will be supported by practical exercises and intensive tuition in two-hour workshops. There will be a written exercise or test every week which will be corrected and returned the following week. Students will be encouraged to participate in the UniPlanet publishing process.
