OVERVIEW
A lookout provides the best vantage point of the Island’s largest sandblow.
At 150m above sea level, Knifeblade Sandblow stretches more than 3.5km inland and advances up to one metre each year.
It takes its name from the small blades of Aboriginal stone tools found here.
North of Happy Valley, it can be reached by the carpark on Woralie Road, 4km from the beach turnoff. The walk to the lookout is about 1km. Allow 45 minutes.
